Alphabetical journey through soaps and creams
    Letter S

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: Personna
    Razor: Schick B1 repeater
Brush: Satin Tip 'The Purest' synthetic
    Soap: Soap Commander Courage
Post: Witch hazel, Fine Platinum aftershave

Easy shave with the B1 repeater and Soap Commander Courage. Wonderful lather whipped up in no time with the Satin Tip brush. Slick lather with amazing post shave feel. Your skin feels so soft and hydrated after using Soap Commander. Some Fine Platinum to match the Aventus theme and all came together quite well.

I'll be on a run of Soap Commander shaves this week and into next week and will be on letter S into next month.

    Have a great day!

I hope the neighbors don't complain if I start blooming the Barbasol. Social norms make for heavy burdens.

Great pictures, Rick! That's the approach I took when I used Barbasol earlier this month. Made a fairly slick lather that way.

    Nice shave, Gary!

Beautiful photo, Jim! Look forward to seeing all your Stirling scents.

Up and moving early this morning. Already in the waiting room for PT. The “Soap Destroyer “ ate through the Oxford and Cambridge whipping up a mountain of rich slick lather. Three passes and touch ups ended with the baby in hand. A splash of Fine Lavender was the exclamation point on a great shave. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.

Thank you, Clint! I've been away from school since last Thursday, so today might be a little hectic. Wonderful photo today! Good luck at PT this morning.

    Excellent zhave Paul

ADHD? Thats what i said about myself at first but low and behold a 30 day rule made a shaver out of me .
Welcome aboard and dont be afraid to ask questions on here if you need help. Thats what got me through my first month.

    Man i love that song.
    Well said!

Someday after you get a few shaves in under your belt with the Parker I'm going to ask which you prefer . Parker or Luxor Pro?

    Hmmm. Interesting.

I want to know what happens if one mixed Barbasol and Williams together ? I'm talking about shave results not flying bricks and such. Sorry @wchnu and @Bama Samurai for even suggesting this but my curiosity is getting the better of me now .

Some day when my local pharmacy gets the red back in I'm going to try it as i love the green.
Took the words out of my mouth. Good advice Terry

Be u ti ful pic Jim. Yes ,I meant to spell it that way too.

I take it you have a boatload of Stirling stashed away.

I'd get the valves looked at on that car of yours. Seem to be bypassing really bad .

    Very very nice.

Aaaaaahhh. Thanks Clint. I needed that. And as promised I will send as much snow as you want old pal.

Not as much Stirling as some. I think I have six full size tubs and three of the smaller Black Friday tubs. Then two or three samples. A fair amount.

Same combination this morning as yesterday. Two differences though-1)I had the Stoylin 26 mm Pro-Handle Synthetic brush, and 2)-the heat isn't working in my apartment, but at least I still have hot water. Thus the shave wasn't as relaxing as I'd like, but I still did OK. They're shutting off the water in the bldg. this morning for some issue, and hopefully they'll discover it's kinda cold in the joint. While this work is being done, I'm heading to the library, where I presume it will be warmer,

Does that red pre-shave work the same as the green? I was going to buy some, but saw an Omega pre-shave onsale for $10 at Groomitorium when I was picking up some AS samples and decided to go with that. It had been discounted from $27, so maybe good but overpriced? Hopefully that and “not good at any price”.
