They'll call 911, the cops will inspect the scene, and walk away saying "How are we gonna write THIS baby up?"

Guys, a newb question. Is BBS perfectly smooth in all directions? Or just mostly a really smooth shave?

I’m wondering if I’ve actually rocked the baby or not.

In Canada we shave whist wearing our parkas and mittens. You get used to it after a while.

I do believe it's the same formula, just different scents . Green is menthol and eucalyptus. Red is sandalwood.

I would say yes in all directions. I'd suggest, as i was told when starting out, to build technique first and worry about getting BBS later .

    Sabre V2 UFO Titan Fine
    GEM PTFE
PAA Atomic Rocket Envy White 2 Band
    MDC Agrumes
    Stirling Lemon Chill
    Pehaligon's Blenheim Bouquet

Continuing this months focus on MDC soap. Sabre V2 made my stubble disappear with two passes leaving only my usual trouble spots for cleanup. MDC citrus' lemony goodness exploded off the PAA Atomic Rocket's Envy knot. Some Stirling's Lemon Chill aftershave and later the light sweet citrus scent of Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet. I'm smooth and refreshed ready for another day. Hope your shaves were great today!

    Razor: Gillette New SC
Blade: Super Gillette Blue Blade (2)
    Brush: Razorock Plissoft 22
    Soap: Stirling Sheep
    Post: Alum, Listerine, WH

Today's shave was the New SC and the Chinese SGBB from last week. This shave confirmed my previous suspicion that this is a mild blade, reminding me more of one like the Astra. It pairs nicely with the New SC, however, and the result was a BBS with no issues.

I hope the issues are resolved quickly, Paul. Good idea to bug out today to someplace that's warm.

Thank you Perry. PT was truly horrible this morning. She dry needled by elbow in an effort to trigger some inflammation in the tendon. OMG I thought I would come off the table.

Thank you Patrick. I have some more greenery for you this week. You can keep the white stuff. :)

Perfectly smooth in all directions. In the beginning don't worry about the results. Instead concentrate on learning the correct technique and committing it to muscle memory. Once the technique is mastered the results will follow.

No since I put things off for so long, the tendon has to be injured to a certain degree to repair itself. Surgery would be scrapping the tendon and putting it in a cast for 6-8 weeks followed by exercise. Things should get better from here. At least I hope so.

Was trying to put my finger on that brush....it sure reminds me of the Burmashave colors or maybe an old Everready i seen somewhere. Nice shave btw Mark.

I find sometimes you may try 5or6 blades in a razor before you find what clicks for you. Great shave John

Very nice Aaron. I love shave sticks too

I tried Clint. Maybe i can get Randy to work on a sales pitch for me . He sure can sell ice cream , maybe snow could be another market for him.

Thanks....It is made from a solid piece of scrap 3/4 inch diameter solid aluminum that I picked up at work. I also made one that is longer. My dad has a small metal working lathe and I like to play around with it. I am by no means a machinist. The weight and balance seems to be pretty good. Weight seems to be close to a Jagger handle just thicker of course.

Hopefully they'll discover? So you're not in somebody's face right now? Hey, I'm a patient man too. But heat is not something to take lightly this time of year.

I understand but of course totally disagree with you. Lee was a great man and also fought for the U.S. before the War of Northern Aggression. If you support the first American revolution how can you not support the second one for Southern indepenence? Also....this country was founded by Southerns. Don't want to get under anyone's skin but there is a lot of misunderstanding and malice toward the South. All we wanted was to be left alone and not all Yankees are bad. There are alot of good northern folks who agree with the wrong directions this Empire has been going for over 150 years. Oh yes, I really do like some Yankees...I married a girl from Pennsylvania.
