Thank you Edison, yeah, I was wondering if there were a product like you just described, I will certainly try it. I must jump through a bunch of hoops to condition my skin to the electric (after a wet pass). The pre-electric is mainly for the benefit of the razor and not so much for your skin. To tell the truth, my plan is to wet shave only, and use the electric just for my head. But one never knows what is just around the corner. A thought just raced through my (so called) mind. Does one really ever quit doing things differently? Just thinking (oh, not again). If you shaved the exact same way every day, wouln`t that be dull enough to drive you as batty as me?

Monday shave

Phew-so busy, just getting around to posting..

Just got some new Haslinger soap in yesterday. Shredded it and jammed her in an old Trumpers bowl. Man this stuff is so slick and easy to dial in - and cheap. I think I paid 9 bucks for a new puck. I need a mild shave - got some burn yesterday from the Dart-Lab blue combo - so the Merkur 34 and Voshkod are called in from the bullpen.

What kind of longevity do you get rolling with the splash and edt. Great stuff, just can't get it to last on my skin Tim. Maybe the layering helps?
