I just found out school is closed due to ice this morning. It is supposed to change to rain by noon and melt away. The shave was close and comfortable and smelled great.

Stirling Sandpiper today. 20 seconds to load the Wild West/Elite Manchurian White brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. I loaded a new Vintage Schick Plus Platinum in the Gillette Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Stirling Sandpiper aftershave.

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Williams Mug Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #340 badger brush. I did two passes with the TNNSER razor with a GEM Blue Star SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Pinaud Special Reserve AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

Shave stckss and Pinaud Clubman, sure I'll take those for the win!

Right dandy shave tho I had to bin the blade upon completion. Looked at it and saw rust/corrosion and that's not good. Now go enjoy your day folks

Blade for the Gillette: Personna Red(1)
Lather: Neutrgena Shave Cream/Proraso Red
Brush: VDH Badger
AS: Mennen `AFTA`/Skin Bracer

Not as good as yesterday, but suitable, got most of the neck an all of the sideburns. Close to a BBS. I just got the Gillette Slim, so I`ll have practice,practice, practice, don`t like blood when I shave. Something different tomorrow. Since I`m not that fond of electric shavers, my inclination is towards the `Guard` all the way and rotate with the Personna Floating head. I have some real nice razors without pivot heads that I like, so I`ll use some of them along the way (just a plan for now)
