    Congrats on your great shaves this week, Randy. I hope you are enjoying some downtime with your family at the conference.

    We're all thankful that your reflection in the Mr. Fancypants soap dish was kept to a minimum. Cameras and shiny objects in the Den can result in interesting CT's. I know you wouldn't take a shine to that. ;)

    Thanks, Terry! Soap Commander is terrific software. It's not tallow based. Some people don't like or want to fool with veg based soaps. I personally don't care - if it works then it's okay with me. The owners are terrific people and they're based in north Alabama. Try some soap samples to get an idea. One of their samples lasted 20 shaves once.

    I'm already plotting to sell my Reef Point Classic Barbershop. Used it the other day and it was fine but I have others that I enjoy more. I'm looking to identify some other candidates as I cruise through by alphabet. Pare it down some and then reevaluate.

    Sounds like your off to a good start! If the blade isnt cutting well that might indicate that your angle is slightly off. Here is one of the best videos I've ever seen for riding the cap:
