Hundreds of Artisan Soap Makers are depending on us Wet Shavers to order more product. Lather with abandon. You never know if it will be you last shave.

Except when that product is limited and what you have is all that remains

You need to let it go and move on... I was there with Klar Kabinett and a number of others over the last 9 years. Nothing lasts forever.

Use it. Enjoy it. Find something new. There are tons of great soaps out there.

When you only bathe once a week, you tend to make a big deal out of it. ;)

I squeeze the lath from my brush and put in on my face. That is not considered wasting lather.

On a watch forum I sometimes frequent, folks often get concerned about wearing their nice watches for everyday activities due to possible damage, scuffs, scratches, etc. That's why so many nice watches become safe queens. This guy actually wears a nice watch as his daily beater and seems to have fun with it...

I say use and enjoy what you have, Jacob. There's plenty more of the good stuff (what ever that may be for you) if you run out. Tomorrow is not guaranteed for any of us.

No guilt here. As I shave in the shower, I use the excess to soap off my skin.

This point was hammered home to me yesterday as I attended the funeral of a childhood friend who passed far too soon at 55. Life is short. Don't waste it.

I don't typically have that much left over after a shave. But I typically have at least two more passes left in the brush when I'm done. I'm not going to sweat that.

Thanks. Stuff happens. It just hurts more when you see them go so young. I was struck by how many people were there. My wife said, "Well, he was young." And then she said, what are YOU going to do about it? Alluding to the fact that I have not done any exercise in 6 months and have put on at least another 10 pounds on top of the 15 I needed to lose. Wake up call.......as long as I heed it.

I’m sorry to hear that. I lost a close friend at 51 this week. It’s no fun.

Thanks mrchick. One thing about this friend, he sure didn't waste his short time on earth. He lived it the way he wanted. Maybe at the expense of other things. And it probably is what helped to bring his early passing as well. But who are we to tell someone else how to live their life?

What I don’t use remains in the shave cup. Is this waste? Hadn’t thought of it before.

I was raised by catholic/jewish parents, of course I feel guilt, about almost everything...except producing excess lather. One must draw the line somewhere.

    None whatsoever.

I don't care, since my lather does not have emotions.
