Close but not the best shave this morning. Lather was off and had a little skipping along the jaw line resulting in a bit of a nick... Not bad, but not great either.

Good morning all!
Tough start to the day, but still in the running.

A two pass shave with my Razorock Black Hawk and Feather blades.
This razor is a less effective then my Gem Junior, even with the Feather blades, so a two pass was needed.

How long has it been since I did NOT shave the old gord.
Well I'm trying to give my sholder a break, so today, I have a fuzzy skull.
Used the Clubman Pinaid AS, seems to be growing on me, in a nice way.

Decantered the Clubman into an used old spice bottle, not sure it makes a difference but has a nice touch.

Other than that everyone here is calling and wondering when will I get going.
I'm running in LOW gear today .
Gotta run, but hope you and yours are doing fine and well.
Will try to get to all the posts I haven't read soon.

Thanks Patrick. We thought all the ladders were funny too. They are much easier to move than scaffolds. I appreciate the comments on the brick. My Dad was a brick layer, and I enjoyed picking out the brick (they came from Georgia) and talking with the bricklayers. I even visited job sites and picked out the bricklayers from the crews our builder uses. That was fun. Here's a closer look at the brick:


I worked seven summers for my Dad in middle and high school. Cell phones and home computers weren't invented yet, so I had some free time. My Dad graciously provided me with opportunities to fill my time, including mixing mud and carrying bricks every day beginning at sunrise. It was hard work, but it was one of the best experiences for a young guy to have. I learned what it takes to make a living and got to spend some quality time with my Dad. He knew exactly what he was doing. After that experience, I had no problems with motivation to go to college. If we had kids, I would have made sure they got a similar experience. It was life changing for me.
