I got this in today, 6/8 Rasoir Sabre Olive Wood Scales . I enjoyed the first one a lot, thought I would get another one. I hope this one is as good. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

Wade & Butcher 7/8+ inch. Sheffield. True Extra Hollow Grind. It looks a little rough, but I am looking forward to some sanding and polishing, to see what's underneath. Looks to be all original, with very little hone wear. Might be a regrind.
Ernesto. 11/16+inch. 1/4 Hollow Solingen Minor rust, but in pretty good shape. It should clean up nicely.
Crown and Sword 11/16+inch. 1/2 Hollow ERN This one sold for $4.00 plus $7 shipping. I like Crown and Swords. The tip was snapped off, but not enough to matter. It should contour nicely, when I'm done.
Picked up one straight today, a Case 5/8 and an old brush. I have another shop scoped out for tomorrow. Pics later.
I just won an auction on EBay for a NOS 1950's 5/8 Henckels Friodur SS with cream-colored scales for just under $100. This will be my first vintage straight razor. I should be getting it sometime next week. I will definitely have pics for it. Now I can say I have a vintage safety razor (1968 Gillette Slim Adjustable) and this new addition to my shave den that complements my other safeties and straights.
Thanks. Yes, that's the one. I paid a little more than I expected, but RE is selling a vintage '73 that was restored for 85 dollars. There were others on EBay that had a chip on the toe with a starting price of 50+ and another had a cracked scale through the lower pin for 70+ so I think I didn't do so shabby.
Thanks Keith! I was just looking on EBay and wasn't expecting to bid on anything until I found this razor. I just had to try and get it and glad I did. Now I hope I am done with buying straights the rest of this year. I started with 2 by the end of 2018. Now this one will be no. 5. Lol!
This one is coming up tomorrow morning. A trusted seller and friend made these custom scales to my specifications. Very nice edge, but it took me twice to get to where I wanted. It's a model #49 15/16"
