  4. Thanks Clint. I've remained at 180-190 now for last 10 years since i lit up again. At 235 it looked like i ate a cardboard box. I replaced the cigs with 2 large bags of potato chips a day, something i try to avoid eating these days . My mother is 86 and smokes over a pack a day!

  5. I keep right in preaching the gospel of technique over tools! Today's shave was no different. Once your solid on the fundamentals everything else is just gravy!

  6. Thank you Charlie.
  7. Good Sunday morning!
The shave was a struggle to say the least.
I bought another MMOC yesterday, it's a little worn but the price was right, after I talked to the guy about it.
Anyway, after a good cleaning job I set it up for todays shave.
I had a blade in my Gem Junior that has only one pass on it and decided to use it.
To start out everything seemed normal but not close as expected, I dropped my brush 2 times into the sink full of water, I have never dropped my brush before. The face was well, the wife ask" did you shave yet??" Hmmm. Back to the job, I started cleaning the old gord and it was pulling, dropped the brush again getting ready for the second pass, time to change blades!
Now the new blade slid over the skin like I greased the rails, perfect!
The sholder, need to take some Tylenol....
Not a great shave, gonna stop there, its not a bad shave, not up to par.
    Lesson learned re-enforced! 1 blade....1 shave!
    For me any way.

I'll repeat this setup Monday morning, see how it turns out. With a NEW blade!!
    To all
    enjoy!

  9. Nice shave Aaron. What soap are you using?

Thats got to be frustrating. I injured my shoulder before and even the simplest chore took me forever to accomplish. My job requires a very steady hand and i felt helpless without it.Hopefully you recover soon and your next shave is a winner.
Congrats on the new find. Its always exciting

  12. The Corpsmen used to tell us in Vietnam that smoking would kill us. We'd laugh and laugh. When you take into consideration all the other things that were trying to kill us, it ws funny at the time.

  17. I have a few soaps and aftershaves that didn't make this round of EDSIO. They showed up in late December after I was past their spot in the alphabet. I'm at work today, double time on Sundays so I don't feel too bad.

  18. I’m not 100% on it since I’ve never used one, but from what I’ve read is that on a traditional kami it is because of the asymmetrical grind and one side is always towards your face.

  19. Great lineup Terry. Sorry the shave didn’t go as well as expected.
