    Good morning everyone,

    My Menthol Monday outing:

    Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap
    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Goodfella/7 AM day 4
    Stirling Glacial Wintergreen SS
    Stirling Glacial Wintergreen ASB
    Stirling Glacial Wintergreen WH
    B&M Arctique AS Splash
    Lagerfeld Classic EdT

Despite our bitter cold weather I wasn’t about to forego a nice, frigid shave. I had tons of great lather from the Glacial Wintergreen soap, that wonderful scent filled the bathroom, and the menthol pummeled my face right from the get-go. The matching balm, witch hazel, and the Arctique brought the freeze to another level. BBS in two passes!

    Gem Small Head razor
    Treet blade
    Vulfix "The Strand" boar brush
Stirling Margaritas in the Artic SS
    Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
    Daxton A/S

Really nice shave this morning, the Gem Small Head is a wicked good shaver and my face likes it. And it time to use up the remaining Stirling MITA I have so I'll be using it for the next couple of weeks. Except for Wednesdays, that's reserved for Williams. So all is well. Now go enjoy your day folks

Autostrop made easy work of the beard but star of the show again is the Swing, today switching blades to the Bic for my head shave. Again, amazing shave, I prefer this to my Barbasol, Timeless 95, Game Changer 84, Karve F... My favorite aggressive razor without a doubt.[IMG]

That brush is a work of dark art. Like it would be the shave brush of a black robed wizard villain in a knight/dragons fantasy story.

    Wilkinson Sword Sticky Razor
    Wilkinson Sword Black Blade
    JR #236/30mm Tuxedo Brush
The Sudsy Soapery Citrus & Bay Soap
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Vintage Avon Deep Woods After Shave

I usually don't use a mild razor with more than two days of growth. But I had this set up already to use yesterday, and never got around to shaving. It took a little more touch up, so I'll say three passes for a nice and smooth BBS shave.

    Gillette Fatboy (6)
    Schick Krona Chrome
Wild West Brushworks Jungle Ebonite (26mm, Frigate Class)
Viking Blades Langham Spa activated charcoal shavecream.
    Myrsol Lemon

My wife bought me this shave cream and stand so of course I had to give it a go. The cream off the tub is black and although on the Viking Blades website they list the scent as "Calm, Luxurious and Mature", I really couldn't detect a scent. I scooped out a fingers worth of the cream (which was too much) and whipped it up into a nice lather in my scuttle. Once I felt I had the lather ready I painted it on and went to work. I don't know if it was the lather or the blade but the shave felt a little rough. There seemed to be an abnormally high amount of blade feel for the FB on 6 and it felt a bit tuggy. I will give the blade another shot with some Stirling lather to determine if it was the blade or the lather that was the issue. The results however were a nice DFS with no irritation so I can't complain there. have a great day me friends!

You have quite the imagination. I so see what you're saying though. That probably explains why I chose the dark and smoky Morocco for its first run! It may have magical lathering powers. Thanks.

Hmmm...too bad that a "Calm, Luxurious and Mature" soap felt rough on you. I'll have to have a look at this.
