Just got back from a weekend trip to the Catboat Owner's Association annual meeting at the Mystic Marriott, which included a tour of the Mayflower II restoration. When I say restoration, I mean only about 20% left of the original ship! This is the third year we visited the Mayflower II and I was amazed at the work being done by the shipwrights at Mystic Seaport Museum. It will be re-launched on Sat. Sept 7. I plan on being there. It will be an awesome sight.

Well, that's it kiddies. That was the highlight of my weekend. After watching this project for three years it's going to be exciting to watch her being relaunched for her voyage back to Plimouth Plantation.
