I have an old 3.2MP PowerShot and it's built like a tank.

last 3 cameras we bought are still in use but none make us happy. hope this one does.

what happened to rolls?

Rolls was having some dizzy spells and said he just didn't feel right. Finally had the Doc come out and he thought Rolls could have a blood clot. After some coaxing, mainly from his son, daughter in law, and especially his grandaughter he decided to have the tests ran. Found some blood clots. Jason, Rolls' son, said he had some complications but is out of surgery now and should recover fine.

Did you get the CCD problem? I have a PowerShot A70 that had that issue, where the screen would only show black and purple. Pics were blank. It's a known issue, and Canon repaird mine for free, even though it's years out of warranty.
