Good morning all. If anyone needs Rolls addy let me know. I have it thanks to the mass qty's of jerky I sent him. Trying to decide on the shave today. Thinking of something different. Maybe to coconut lime verbena with iced lime as. It should pick up my spirits

 

I have been thinking about the ole goat... hope you is feeling better Rolls.

Any of you ever use a boar brush? I am going to buy one from Paul at Connaught and give it a go. Seems like the guys that use them say they are pretty good and work well for face lathering.

 

I have a cheap-o VDH boar that I love to use. It was all I had for a long time. Before I was given a Ever Ready Badger. I think they work just fine. But of course YMMV

I just got the Omega $13 job off the bay....cant lather worth a damn with it but it hasnt broken in yet. They work fine with soaps and face lathering but the badger is so much better at lathering creams hands down.

 

So what do you have to do to break them in? Do they have a good backbone or are they floppy?

 

I just posted a review in the "skincare" section, mainly because it didn't really fit anywhere else...let me know what ya'll think

 

I'll be trying my NOS Ever Ready boar tomorrow. I'll let you know what I think of it. I'll probably use IK or Tabac. Maybe the QED Sandalwood I got from Shawn last week that I haven't used yet....

Hi Matt, shipping might be costly, it's about 8 lbs a gallon, plus extra for shipping liquids.

 

Don't forget about shipping especially if from a country where it can be dangerous.

 

You guys should have told me you liked the stuff. I seriously just dumped a bottle down the drain this morning.
