The more I look at my Jeeves BR soap, the more I come to think that for me the 1/2 lb. Bill Neumann soap wouldn't be such a bad deal after all., I have a good enough number of other soaps, thus it isn't like that would be my only one, and it takes me quite long time to finish each soap. $28 for a soap that could be in my arsenal for a few years at least(let's call it $7 per year)....(and a classic soap at that)-worth a try!!

 

So what are you waiting for? Place that order!

In due time-I want to reduce some of my currents for a while. Also need to think of a good aftershave match-such as perhaps that Master Challenge I'll be purchasing from the Williamsport Bowman Barber catalogue(along with the nice hairbrush I saw).

Heartwood. That wasn't one of the ones I had in the sample Aftershave set, but Kerry(forgot his screen name, he's from the SF area)spoke very highly of it, and when I read the ingredients, I said to myself, "No wonder, Kerry!!"

 

Y'know, the funny thing about the shave-soap reviews: One guy reviews all of them, almost word for word. He must have found a way to rubber-stamp the different names in for each review, lol.

well hello fello shavers, its shave time again,40s shave british style...brit late 40s shave kit with culmac brush, unknown soap,smells like yardley lavender?,,did they make a shave stick? and an nos thin handle flat bottom tech set. used a gsb blade, keep the original..soap lathered lovely, brush is meh,2 combination pass dfs shave.no drama..very cool set..have a great night ,gary .
