    Thanks Patrick. I've been swapping blades out after two shaves with the shavette. I might see how many I get out of this one. Rapira blades are very smooth, so it should be fairly easy to detect when the blade starts tugging.

    I have one here that has 3 shaves on it, going to put it in the Rockwell next month and push it to its limit to see if I can beat 9 shaves

    Someone labelled me an enabler my first week on here, so naturally I have to live up to the role. Did I mention the good deal I got on the blades? Btw I think you enabled me into buying Russian steel not so long ago.

    I have the Rockwell 6C and it is a great shaver. Unfortunately, I am still waiting on my Rockwell model T. I have had it on preorder since the end of Sept 2018.

    Who, me? Surely not. I'd never do anything like that. I mean, if you want to try Russian Steel - the finest blades ever made and still being made, by the way, then by all means feel free to do so. But don't let the fact that they absolutely out perform the rest of the blades 10 to 1 on a bad day, or the fact that I have enough in my stash to last until 2154 to influence your wonderfully wise decision to buy Russian Steel!

    I remember the guys talked about making a TTO but it seemed to be just an idea. Was a hard go for them with a lot of people getting frustrated with delays and such. I believe they make a good product. Mine seems to be a world class shaver so far. It's a 6C in gunmetal.

    Not only did I buy a 100 mixed pack , they gave me a razor with them. I'm hooked now btw, the razor may make its maiden voyage during Mayhem along with a Rimei I won in the raffle

    The Cashmere is a great knot. The fibres are a bit finer than those of the Tuxedo so it's a little softer but still plenty of backbone.
