    Fine Lavender Aftershave

A very rushed two pass shave this morning. Everything worked well together. As expected my lower right neck allowed the baby to escape. A splash of Fine Lavender and I’m off for Physical Therapy. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.

    January 2019 Recap

I have continued my effort to finish off some software. Nothing completed yet but several are on the ropes. The Supply SE has quickly become one of my favorite razors. As usual the best part of the month has been the friendship and fellowship of the 30DC. I’ve enjoyed seeing some new people become part of the crew. I’m looking forward to participating next month.

  3. Has been a great month Perry. Im assuming it'll take you all of February to get through the Stirling once you get to it. I think Andrew @Linuxguile could do a year of Stirling shaves and maybe still not go through them all.
  4. Thank you for a month of wonderful green pics to boost out spirits up here in the north. We had snow again yesterday and now today is just back to cold again. Typical for here.
  5. Thank you Patrick. Our weather is crazy with a cold snap this week and back to 70 degrees next week.

  7. Thank you, Clint! Wonderful shave today as usual. That soap looks like it has a couple of uses left. Great recap photo calendar as well.

Thank you, Patrick! I have 12 Stirling soaps - six regular tubs, three of the smaller Black Friday tubs, and three samples. That will take a good bit of February since I shave usually six times a week and one of those is a Fat Friday shave. But it will be time well spent as Stirling is such good quality.

  9. Very pleased with my Stoylin Barbershop/Clubman shave this morning. The remaining soap of the Barbershop tub is all along the perimeter now. Will do two more in this set. I did have a jaw weeper, during the second pass. Better the second than the first, I suppose, if there is to be a weeper at all.

  10. (Course you realize, Charlie, that the reason for my "like" was for your cartoon-had nothing to do with you thanking Patrick, chuk yuk yuk-no offense Patrick)
  11. We had a stretch of extreme cold followed by higher temps, then rain. Melted a lot of snow, then we got dumped on 3 times since. Reminds me of winters from when i was a kid .
  12. None taken Paul.
  13. I just like to rib Charlie on occasion-the gentleman is quite the "artist" in here(not to mention funnyman).
  14. :thanks:

  15. Would @Linuxguile come in a close second to Doc Ezlovan himself as to having the most Stoylins? (chuk-yuk-yuk)

Blackland Sabre L2 UFO Titan Fine
    GEM PTFE
    Chubby 2 Synthetic
    MDC Fougere
    CRSW Lavish AS

Excellent shave today with the Sabre L2, so smooth and efficient. Two passes plus cleanup with the fresh smelling MDC Fougere. Little used Paladin Falstaff was excellent. Maybe a future travel razor, yes sir! Finished this one off with Cold River Soap Works Lavish. Have a great Thursday!
