  4. @Paul76
It is a nice razor! I assume it's a vintage American made razor. If it is, then how old is it.

  7. It's been a fun focus, Neal. You use some interesting gear, for sure.
Gary, I've enjoyed your focus this month. You've got a very nice rotation of Gillette Techs, and I've enjoyed seeing all your model cars.
It has been a fun and interesting alphabetical rotation of soaps and creams, Perry. You'll be in "S" for 6 months, my friend. ;)
I've enjoyed seeing all your gear this month, Clint. You're making room in your den for some new soaps too. Great recap!
It's been fun riding along with you this month, Paul. Start buying some new soaps. Bill Neumann has to feed his kids. ;)
Mark, you have some beautiful gear as well. I'd love to see a family photo of all your Simpson brushes! Congrats on finishing the Brain Bowl this month.
It has been fun following along with Jeeves January, Jason. I always enjoy seeing what brush you're going to be using.
Terry, you rocked it again this month! I hope the shoulder heals quickly.
You travel with some fancy gear, Brian! I'm glad you find the time on the road to join us.
It has been fun watching your brush and soap parade this month, Jim. You win the award for having the shiniest gear!
    Yes, he did. :)
Aaron, great job this month on your "blue collar" shave focus. Call it what you want, you had some mighty fine shaves there. Happy Birthday to Mom!

  8. Speaking of "riding along with me", there may be a lot of that in the future now that Central Texas Soaps has its official website! And yes, Bill Neumann will be hearing from me this year :).

  13. Nice way to wrap up the month John!
  14. I hate loose scales. I bought a mini anvil and ball peen hammer, tap tap tap and nice and tight.

    That’s how I did it.

John, I've really enjoyed learning about Gillette Techs in your posts this month. I had no idea there were so many different variants.
I never know what cool gear (hardware and software) to expect from you, Jim! It's always a treat to see your photos as well. :happy088:
Great shaves. Great photos. Phenomenal sons. Keep the cool shaves coming and have more kids.
Congrats on your progress with straight razors this month, Joseph. :happy096:
Nice shaves always, Paul. You're definitely one of our veteran Dark Siders. I'm glad you got to thaw out today. I thawed a frozen HVAC drain line today. The upstairs heat is back on, and my Bride has declared me a hero. :happy108:
Great straight razor focus, Robert, with that old broken in Thäter brush. You have inspired me this month to look around for a cool old table for my SOTD photos. It won't be from Malawi, though...maybe from an antique or second hand shop. :happy088:
  17. Great shave Jim. Hope they reach an agreement.

  20. I never looked at it tht way Charlie. Thats still very good mileage for a blade though. As soon as i feel that tug starting i toss the blade also, not worth risking a nick or cut. Really enjoyed your reports this past month.
