    I've spent so much time using vintage razors time to get back to non hobby shaving. This month I plan to do a 30 day rule with a Van Der Hagen razor and something besides a Bic Chrome Platinum blades which I've used almost exclusively for 2 years straight now.

    My gear for the month.
    Van Der Hagen 85mm handle razor
    Utopia Care badger brush
    Astra Platinum blades 5 pack - 6 shaves a blade so a 30 day supply
    C. O. Bigelow shave cream aka rebranded Proraso
    Unknown shave bowl

    @BBS, I will be using the VDH TTO as one of my razors this month. Honestly, it is my least favorite in my collection.

    I am in for February. My primary focus will be the ongoing effort to use up some of my software inventory. I will uses different brushes and razors as my mood dictates.

    :signs011: Yep. I have two of those. One I just cleaned out the last of the Deluxe puck on my head shave. The other currently holds an almost new puck of VDH scented Luxury soap that I'll use on head shaves until it's gone.

    Upon checking that bowl is for the VDH premium set. I bought the set over 5 years ago iirc. I just found the brush that goes with the bowl to verify here.

    I would have used the brush except that the badger hair brush loads the Bigelow cream better using less cream to water than with a boar brush the way I make lather. Boar brush I found works better with puck soaps than a badger for the same reason.

    I'm in for February! I plan to shave with my Trac II for the next four days and then return to the Parker SRX next week. Just for fun, I'll try the Trac II with all the fancy fixins' (shave soap, brush, etc.) and also with brushless shave cream. This little razor has been all over with me, and it delivers a pretty nice shave.

    I am going to try and keep shaving... I have had some fun working through my razors that have been boxed up. I have been in a rut just shaving and not thinking much about it. I should probably keep going through what I have and consolidate my stuff.

    And if it matters, I have never tried a fat boy I don't really see much need to do so either.

    Good call! I'm in for Fatboy February. Bought one last year, sent it off to get fixed, and it has been in the box since I got it back. Don't know why, but I have been nervous about using it. This is just the reason I need to break it out. This month I'll focus on finding the right setting and blade combo for an enjoyable shave.

    I'm in for Fat Boys & Favorites. Been missing the other DE's,too. Enough software and brushes of assorted bristle to keep me comfortably in the Favorites zone. Making it a Focus if I choose a set up each week. Every day or at least 5-6/week shaves are my target.
