It would definitely be an eye opener when you stepped outside into the cold. Some of those soaps and splashes feel cold on a warm day .

    January Shavette & Jeeves

Jeeves of Hudson Street Bay Rum SS
    Omega Pro 98 boar brush
    Suribachi bowl , cool water
Luxor SS shavette - Personna LB
Yaqi DOC / G. Bar handle - Personna LB
    Old Spice AS
SOTD 01312019 JoHS Bay Rum.gif My last lather from the tub of Jeeves Bay Rum. Had my brush loaded and just started working it in the bowl - my soap got plucked out of my den. I do appreciate the intro to Jeeves, and the 30 DC LE SS more suites my nose. I'll be watching their releases for another soap & AS. Dropped a fresh 1/2 blade in the Luxor, got a tuggy WTG start. Knowing that fresh blade in the DE only had one use I went full meal deal on a 3 pass and got everything the shavette had missed recently. Generous splash of the AS finished an error free DFS for tonight,
and a fun month of mostly shavette.
    Good Shaves Y'all!

Indeed. I wasn't planning on heading out until tomorrow morning.

We have had Canadian-ish temps here the last few days. I think it was -4F with 30 mph gusts when I woke this morning and took the dog out. Not as cold as I experienced visiting a friend in Edmonton, but cold enough.

Oh boy, i am from eastern Canada where we get the damp cold and I've worked in Edmonton where the cold is of the dryer type. I prefer the damper cold anyday.

He was a welder up on the oil sands too. I know I couldn't deal with that at all.

I always worked night shifts out there and spent some very cold evenings thinking what the heck am i doing here? Then again its been quite frigid here lately and seems like more snow than weve had in last few years .

SNOW is better than COLD in my opinion. We have enough now that there will still be traces of it come May
