That's how I got several bottles deep in Shulton Old Spice. I still don't collect decanters. Just the juice.

I used Kroger grocery store generic Israeli Personna Red's for my newbie Fat Boy training. Now mine's stuck on number nine setting with Feathers, Kai's or other suitable sharp blades. Astra SP's get the job done quite well!

 

It's so true. However, I am waiting on a model T TTO adjustable from them.

Day 28.

Three passes with the Dovo Best, then tidied up with the Clog Pruf. Finished off with my hands-down favorite aftershave, Floid Vigoroso.

The La Toja stick is the next soap in my crosshairs to finish, I think. Although I have a couple more of them... I used the bowl this time, and and had much better results than last time. I just don't face lather enough to be good at it.

 

Well, blades are the only piece of shave gear I do not have in “hoarder quantity”. I’ve actually never bought 100 at a time.

 

Honestly, Joe, I am unaware of Frank Sinatra ever singing it. Bing Crosby sang it first in the film "Here come the Waves" (1944) But the best recording is with Bing and The Andrew Sisters, also recorded in 1944.

 

Joseph, you get a super gold star. Bing Crosby did sing it first. Dean Martin sang it on his show. According to my research, Frankie never sung it. Ella Fitgerald, Al Jareau and others have
covered it. This Italian boy mea culpas by originally giving out the wrong info. I better stick to Chemistry. Lol!

My plan for the month is to do a "Rule". Gillette Fatboy & Gillette Executive which is just a gold Fatboy, w/ Personna 74 Tungsten, 30DC LE brush, 30DC LE TSD Blood & Steel Soap by Jeeves on the Hudson, Folsom and Company aftershaves.
This is the plan anyway.

 

I love Pinaud's Vegetal because the old-time barbers would use it on my neck shaves when I was a kid. I have the reg Clubman and the New Old Spice. When I am near the end of the Clubman, I will order the Vegetal.
