    Thanks Aaron!
Ok, I tried that and many other things.
I think it's the coating on the head, just doesn't slide like I'm used to.
It works kinda ok on the face, the head shave made me grumpy.
    I hate being grumpy!

That looks tasty, Rick! I've never had crawfish. I was looking forward to trying them when we were in New Orleans but no place we wandered into to eat had them on the menu.

Like many I also struggled with my neck, ATG for me from my ear to Adams apple. Here is how I do it:

Use your right hand to shave the right side. Use an inverted grip (upside down), you then use reach your left hand over the top of your head and reach down to almost your jaw line, tilt your head and then pull the skin tight with your left hand. Viola, now you have made a flat plane with neck and should have the proper angle with the inverted grip. Just change hands for the left side.[/QUOTE

I have tried the inverted grip but it was uncomfortable for me for shaving the neck. I do occasionally use it at the junction of my jawline and ear because the stubble grows in the opposite direction than the rest.

Is it tuggy like a blade that has exceeded it's serice time, or drags with extra resistance?
I wonder what would happen if a bit of olive oil was used on the head....
Terry, this one is new to me. I'm still confused as well.
I'll do more research and see.

Quite a lot actually. I still believe that it will take 100 (or so) to be really proficient though. Little by little I'm learning how to navigate different spots. Your tip about the neck just now I'll be trying tomorrow. Thank you for that.
I'm also still working on getting my left hand into the act more. That is just going to be a slow process. I am using it as much as I feel comfortable with.
But I can pretty consistently get to SAS with just the straight. I'm happy with that at this point.

It took me about 100 to get consistently good shaves.

@Terry, It's the main reason why I prefer TTO adjustable and adjustable plate razors to avoid mild razors. I need max blade gaps to get a great shave. For instance, I always have my Gillette slim adjustable at setting 9 and my Rockwell on plate 6 which are the most aggressive settings. Of course, I would lower the setting if I used blades like Feather, Kai, etc. Anyway, I digressed too much. Sometimes you have to try different razors to find what works best for you. I know you will figure it out.

SOTRACO is the parent company of Lord, and their associated brands. Shark, Asco, Big Ben, Crown, etc.

What you see there is Rainbow, 1,000 of 'em. Shoebox Shave Shop had them for $5/100 a while back. I like them better than I remember Shark being. Which does not necessarily mean better than Sharks actually are. But they are a good blade. You just don't see them that often. And that price was too good to resist.

They are definitely a different breed of razors. I like DE ones because I can simultaneously use both sides before I need to rinse off the lather. You do it your way, and I do it my way as long as we get the best results.

Hey Joe, DE's are great, I gots a few of them too. Gota Fatip Retro that loaded with a Polsilver blade gives a heavenly head shave.
Got some bakelite DE razors that shave like WOW! Got a 1906 Gillette that is should be in a hall of fame.
    Yes, DE's are great too.
