I have florida blue
and a vintage new in box from the 50's bottle of south seas blue.
I have a small sample of the Havana brown, but I don't like how susceptible they are to water washing.

Agreed. But they write beautifully and are some of the smoothest and most trouble free inks I've used.

I find the Visconti inks clog slow-flowing pens.

I got the Visconti in a lot sale of inks, I don't think I have filled anything with it, I just like the looks of the bottle.
Wanna buy my bottle of florida blue? I think it's defective. it feathers like mad. Crazy I know, but it does. Everyone I talk to about it thinks I'm crazy.

Jim, check out the Uniball Signo RT line of pens, they come in different sized points from 0.35 to 0.5 to 0.7, they are just as smooth, if not smoother than the G2's and are waterproof.

 

I got a small plastic bottle of Visconti ink free a while back. It's straight from Visconti, but not in the crazy looking bottle.

Your Florida Blue feathers? I've never heard of that happening. The Waterman line of inks have been the most trouble-free inks I've come across. What have you tried it in?

I don't need another bottle of it as I've got a pretty full one and don't use it that often. My everyday ink is Noodler's Gruene Cactus. I love the color.

Vintage 52V waterman pen. I thought it would be fitting to pair the two together. I tried it in a couple others, don't remember what though.

I used legal lapis for a long time, but then got bored with it. Now I'm back to old manhattan black.

 

I don't think you're crazy. Maybe yours is defective. Somehow. I don't know. The balance of the universe has just shifted. Black holes are appearing everywhere. AAHHHHH!!!

actually, Uniball is my preferred brand, but I found that pack of G2's on clearance, along with a couple of G2 Pros, which are quite nice

I also have a couple of Cross Pens, but don't use those nearly as often.

My Simple Text Editor of choice, though, is the original Pentel Quicker Clicker
