  4. Thank you, Andrew. This knot came from Randy as part of my Shavey Award and I just thought I would try it in the collar as it fit nicely in the handle that way. Just experimenting a bit, I guess, as every other Omega I’ve pulled the collar off of.

  6. A current shave-related thought(well, many thoughts, same subject).:

It'll be NB Feb-May 1 for me this year. Enable me all you want, fellas-not gunna work. With my birthday being on May 1(and I suppose with the MayHem shavies), that month will be a horse of a different kettle of fish(as the one, oh all right 2 together saying(s)go(es). Not saying I'll be a spendthrift in May, but I'll make a nice addition to my den. As I said, this month's main focus for me is beginning to cut down on current soaps. That focus will extend through May 1. (Course I should have other focuses for March and April). Shave on, gentlemen :).
  7. Very nice Fat February shave, Brian!
  8. No flipping soap either Paul. Use it all, every last scrap!!!

  9. Thanks Andrew. Yeah, I have no shortage of alternatives.

  10. Well, between now and May 1, I have too much in each puck to flip(course I might get to the end of the Stoylin Barbershop). Every last scrap, eh? It does amaze me how shavers in those videos can take out what appears as a small amount, and whip it up to make it look like a lot.
  11. Thank you, Gentlemen. I guess I’m pretty predictable, Perry...
  12. Day 31.

Back to work on the La Toja stick. Now here's a soap that thrives in our hard water. Bowl lathered again, of course. Three passes with the Dovo, then the Timor open comb. A most excellent shave today.

  13. I don't see it as predictable, Jason. More like hopeful that it gets to be used!
  14. Excellent travel setup Jason.
