No shave today. Just arrived home after working all night on a guys snowmobile. They were passing through from another province and had a breakdown with no place open to get repair done till morning. His machine is now all fixed for when he wakes up so they can carry on with their journey. Going to catch a bit of sleep and try to catch up here later .

Congrats on using a blade that you refreshed! That's some mighty fine hardware and software, Joseph! I'm starting to come around to the beehive handles, and that knot looks fabulous.

It shaved very well. Loud!! Straights are MUCH louder than DE's.

 

Thank you Bruce. This Vie-Long is a well-worn Silvertip, which I acquired from a former member here and former member at most fora...The handle is really nice and while the knot is still hanging in there (pun intended), it sometimes look like it was caught in a very strong wind.

I really wish I had not seen this post. I have been on the fence about getting one of these, and this makes me lean more towards getting one. Nice picture, Fuzzy.

 

You could wear your underwear over your pants and tell her you're a superhero. Might not want to do that on a workday though.

 

Not a wintertime Calvin and Hobbes cartoon but too good to pass up...
