    I agree, I also worry that the thumbnail test or thumb pad test will damage the edge. The Honer's Mange gets bad when I am working with a group of blades.

    Back to work shave:

    The long holiday is over so it was hard to wake up and with less than 18 hours between shaves I went with one of my favorite DE instead of a straight. Today's razor is Joris (old photo) loaded with a Personna 74. Just a hair short of epic but still and excellent shave.

    Irritation A+ Closeness A

    Razor: Joris (Persona 74 3)
    Brush: M&F Blonde Badger
    Soap: Crowne and Crane
    AS: Fine Vetiver AS, Speick ASB
    Scent: Roja Dove Vetiver
