Just got a freaking ticket for not wearing a seatbelt. The officer was just standing in the middle of the road, and as I approached he motioned me over to the side of the road and then asked me to park. THEN he tells me he's conducting a seatbelt checkpoint and of course I'm not wearing my seatbelt. I'm sure this is going to cost us 100+ dollars, but the ever wise city of Pineville and state of Louisiana doesn't print the amount of the offense on the ticket. No- the back of the ticket says call the number on the front of the ticket to find out what you owe- and there's no number on the front of the ticket. Yay state of Louisiana.

I am not a happy camper.

Heh! I see I should've been more specific- I don't own one of those newfangled text thingies. I'm a pseudo Luddite: my phone's a phone, my camera's a camera, and I don't know how to use those text thingies. :happy102

 

$25 here in Atlanta and we arent known for our cheap tickets either. It wont be that bad.

I did. Pretty good. You really have to be in the mood for that scent, though. Luckily, I was in the mood for it at 3 AM this morning. Finished the shave with JoAnna's Sub Zero splash and SRP/QED Tobacco balm.

I need to run the smell of the cream by the girlfriend first. I have a feeling she'll hate the smell in which case I'll never be able to use it because she has a nose like a bloodhound.

I still dont wear a seatbelt unless driving the GF car because it beeps. A really bad habit I need to break. No excuse except laziness. I already drive a death trap(Miata)

 

I'm so used to wearing a seat belt now that I don't feel right if I don't buckle-up.

As JoAnna said, try looking it up online. I did some searching an found MA's fine pretty easily.

 

Dom, what blades have you been using in the slant? Have you tried anything other than a feather in it?

I think I am going to need to get some additional blades. By about Wed. or Thurs the face starts to feel bad, doesn't look bad just feels bad. Gonna need to try alternating every other day with a different blade.

 

The only blade I could get to work in the slant was a feather which isnt my best friend in the first place. I did get some damn close shaves though. I tried others but to no avail BTW....Tracy....that Noxzema gets here pretty quick. 6 business days for me and maybe a couple more for you. Dom thought it was so so. Something about it just really makes it good? Who knows. I will have 3 tubes total so I will be set for a while.

 

I've only used Feathers in the slant so far, but I'm very happy with it. I'm currently using some GEMs Fuzzy sent me, but I've got a bunch of blades to test out that I picked up recently. I'll be conducting my testing using the slant of course, so I'll let you know.

 

Feathers do a great job for me and I shave every day except Saturday with a 3-4 pass shave. By mid week I think I have taken enough dead skin off my face due to the sharpness of feathers that I think I need to switch it up every other day. I would probably be fine if I only did a 2 pass or something but I like BBS. I have some Derby's at home, maybe I will try one of those out. Looking forward to the Noxema, I am slowly becoming a cream man.

Wear your seatbelts please. Mine has saved my life.

Tracy, used the tabula rasa. It performed well but no scent is no fun.

 

Yeah the TR is a great cream but scent is needed. I put some Lime EO in mine and an letting it fester for a week or so to get a good scent on.

I agree with Ray, buckle up.
