Thanks Danny! As you may know, I only started straight shaving in October. My strength is being able to do research and look at details. Being a high school Chem teacher helps me to do it. My extensive research on brand, model and retail pricing helps me decide which razor I want. I go to Ebay armed with the knowledge and see if any one of my razors are on auction or for sale. I communicate with the sellers about their offerings to whittle out the scammers. My best score was the NOS 1950's 7/8 Fiodur square point for $95. It included the original box, instructions and protective sleeve. That razor is worth over $200! I have been fortunate to find sellers that aren't looking to hurt a buyer. They just want someone to enjoy and take care of the razor.

Yeah, Joe, I probably will try it again eventually. For now I still have plenty of other things to explore.

Is it the gold 1986 K car or the 1975 baby blue VW bug?

    Thank you, Gentlemen.
Yes, we are a little cold and snowy today, but in general I certainly don't complain about life in the Rockies.

    NCoxSTL AAACK!

Canadians are a tough lot. He mentioned it was -12C. That's 10 degrees F. That's a relatively warm winter day in the northern regions. As a former North Dakota resident, I can say, with all truth, that I played a round of golf on a sunny 10 degree day in Bismarck. Snow golf, so not exactly the same rules or duration, but it was still golf. With beer. Oh, so much beer.
