It arrived! I couldn't wait to shave tonight because my Gillette British FBT arrived. It looks even better in person. I honestly believe it was replated in Rhodium because it is so shiny. From the first stroke, it felt smooth and more efficient. I did 2 passes with touch-up on my cheeks because that was all I needed. It is most definitely a keeper. I may vary the handle just to play around a bit, but it shaves fantastic. I may need to downsize some razors because they are going to get jealous of my recent acquisitions... Nah, just kidding. fbt razors are awesome , i use a solid handle sometimes,it will shave really nice with a fat tech handle as well,they came that way but not with that case..enjoy..

February Favorites!!

Third and final shave for this round on the Fatip and Voskhod. I've used all my Stirling soaps so on to another favorite, Mitchell's Wool Fat. This has been my unofficial favorite soap for at least three years, challenged only by Stirling, and I'm still debating that order. As usual the hydrated puck coupled with a barely damp brush resulted in a lather explosion that required some extra sink clean up. Gotta love this soap. The texture is so light yet so protective and slick. It's Campbell's soup mmmmm.....mmmmm.....good! The Canuck made it even more effortless and there was enough lather left over in the brush after three full passes to share with everyone here. Alum was quiet, and I finished with a splash of the Veg to make it a perfect shave. BBS finish was just one highlight. Please note in the picture, the glow of goodness from the Veg illuminated the entire shave! It's heavenly, I tell you!

Missed this earlier...I think it is ok, but as far as APShave Co knots go, I really like the 30mm SynBad. I like the flattop for painting strokes, but it isn’t very easy to splay. I have a 28mm flattop that I’ve yet to put in a handle as well.

 

I'm using an iMac 21.5 and not my iPhone. My fingers are too big to be using anything other than a keyboard.

That I will try. Here's the thing, before Apple updated my operating system, I used to download photos with no problem what so ever but now? I don't know what the heck the update changed in my settings and it only seems to be getting worse. Heaven knows that I don't want to start pulling my hair out or drinking. I'll just have to shave to myself.

I used to be a moderator on another website and whenever I had problems, one of the owners would log in my machine and make changes as needed on the inside. He was / is an IT guy for a fortune 500 Company. But now? I'm old, I'm slow, and I'm falling behind faster than I'm learning. Such is life.
