How do you guys take care and clean of your other grooming tools besides your razors? I'm talking beard and nose hair scissors, nail clippers, tweezers etc.? Would spraying them with alcohol be enough for disinfecting?

Sure, guess so. Since I'm the only one using my stuff, I don't do a lot of disinfecting. Never thought about it much. I would probably clean my nail clippers if I had a nail infection..

Spraying with alcohol should be fine for disinfecting. But scissors also need to be sharpened and oiled periodically.

I only clean the razor and blade, for some strange reason I always remove the blade and clean that seperately, there is always soap and crud on it no matter how much I rinse it...so now I am in the habit of just removing and a quick wipe then a hot rinse and back in the razor.

Occasionally wipe them with the t-shirt I’m wearing. With nail clippers I sometimes dip them in my chlorinated pool if I’m using them out there.

Why do you take the piss? It's uncalled for. My question was serious.

No problem. Written communication isn’t always the best form of communication.

If you have stainless steel I don't think you really should have to, aside from the fact if you have sensitive skin and some allergy you should clean up... I usually clean my stuff aside of razor in a month or so!

That is probably why he chlorinates the pool.

Are you really serious? You dip them in a chlorinated look?

Yep. Pool. Did it yesterday in fact. I’m trimming them out there anyway so it’s convenient.

That’s fine too. But oiling and periodic sharpening are still needed.
