I love that New Forest brush. I don’t have that version in my collection.

 

A well made Solingen razor was used today. Excellent 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. No issues, just very smooth shaving.

Razor- "Regilo". Swedish Silver Steel. Solingen Germany.
Brush- JR#262. Ebony/Birdseye Maple. WD silvertip Badger
Soap- TOBS Sandalwood
Aftershave- Florida Water

Road trip for a week and this is one of two shave setups that I took on the road with me. No photos while I am on the road.

Delayed Valentine's Day Shave (my wife and I both worked and I didn't get home until after 1am)

Tough to see, but I used the bakelite Merkur 45c on a black anodized WCS handle considering the red theme. Nice smooth shave but I think the blade is near the end of its life. My wife likes the scent of the Clubman hence me using that after shave lotion. Hope everyone had a wonderful day with their significant others. Happy weekend as well.

***EDIT - Beautiful 3-pass + minor cleanup shave. This shave reminds me what I paid all that money for on high end shave gear. Post shave feel is excellent. I used the PAA Mysterium Serum as a finishing moisturizer.

 

nice set up and pic sir, haven't been able to locate the paul mitchell shampoo up here..

 

It is a lovely knot 22 x 47. I also have its close relation the 2223 which has a slightly smaller handle and is 22 x 50. When I want a treat.....I use a New Forest!

Well....what an enjoyable shave that was! My first use of the Arran Lochranza shaving soap. It's a good shaving soap....lathers well with good protection although the post shave feel may be slightly lacking....but what a scent. I think a bottle of the matching EDT may soon be on order.
3 passes and I am well and truly set for the day. It's amazing how scent can influence your frame of mind!
