    I agree completely, I still have a tub or two of the older base, and the CK1 base is definitely a great improvement. My guess is I will be a flip flopper on the CK1/CK6 base when making purchases in the future. Having said all of that, both of these bases are among the better vegetarian bases I have tried and are better than several tallow bases, so IMO you can't go wrong with either, it just comes down to individual preferences, as you said.
