Nice shave and glad to see the models making a come back. I love to see them as well. Do you still assemble models?
Congrats, Patrick! That's an awesome set of SEs for your den. Kudos to @John Ruschmeyer for his generosity!
Thank you. I am pleased to pass them on to someone to whom they will bring joy. How the heck did you get the MMCP cap to look so good? When I got it, the plating was literally flaking off like so much glitter. Don't start with the brass MMOC. It's missing a blade stop. Also, to give credit where credit is due, the Gem Junior military set was part of a very generous PIF that I received from @Morman Bridge. Share and Enjoy!
yes ,slowly, have a few dozen to last the next few years, but most are built from parts from all the kits, kitbashing in modellers terms..takes a long time to plan and source the correct parts.i like to replicate certain cars i like with different options like engine/wheels/suspension etc.some drag racing cars don t come in kit form so i have to build them..has been a 40 year hobby for me,plus i was a participant/helper /builder and full time mechanic on street cars and trucks for 30+years..its a passion but i have slowed down now..thank you danny.i will continue to show them ..
thank you charlie, will continue to show them..wasn't sure as this is after all a shave site..thank you all who likes them..
That will be my next shave. Nice shave Used 3M Scotchbrite and elbow grease. With the Brass OC , I sent Fuzzy @wchnu a message as to what can be done with it. I hate to scrap it and may try to braze weld a new tab on.
Thank you Jim. I am having a blast with Asha. We are going down Tucson tomorrow morning Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
