SE Sunday's Shave Cold Water Wash Proraso Sandalwood Jayaruh #353 J.A. Henckels J.A. Henckels wedge CWR Dove Men+Care Post Shave Balm My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Proraso Sandalwood Shave Cream face lathered well with the Jayaruh #353 Badger/Boar brush. I did two passes with the J.A. Henckels Lather Catcher razor with a J.A. Henckels wedge blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Dove Men+Care Post Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Howdy guys, Today’s shave report: Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/7 AM day 4 Simply Bee SS Prep ASB Booster Polar Ice AS Splash Gosh, what a great shave this was - there’s absolutely no doubt in my mind that this 1950’s Super Speed is the best razor for me. My other DE’s also perform very well but there’s something about this one that stands out. This South African-made Simply Bee soap is brilliant - its scent is very mild, but pleasant, it’s a great latherer, and it leaves such a comfortable postshave feeling. It’s also got fantastic blade glide so that the razor seems to skate across your face. It’s hard not to love the Prep because of its wonderful cooling and soothing effect. This is the South African version which is the same formulation as the Italian one. This Polar Ice is a Canadian barbershop classic and it smells so nice. (My wife has a different opinion of it, though!) Two easy passes resulted in a perfect BBS shave! Relax, and enjoy your Sunday!
