Great shave today! 2 days of stubble was removed with my silver flaretip, bbs on cheeks ibss on neck no irritation, no burn on the alum, nothing! Best shave yet by far!
I used some pre shave oil today and I think it helped.

Using Magic hair remover wouldn't be fun nor challenging. Thanks, but I will stick with wetshaving using straights and DE razors.

Keith, she is a beauty! Since I don't have a near wedge, how does the shave compare to the more hollow grinds?

    Good morning all...
    Things were going great until....
The picture below I will call the last 12 hours.....
    20190217_081539.jpg
I'm looking after the yearling and the 6 year old...........
The yearling got sick, that lead to an all nighter, the mom back to the hospital last evening, 6 year old got up, not feeling well.....
Newborn is doing rather well, knock on wood.
The shower and shave during a quiet time, same with toast for breakfast.
Quick shave with my gear was nice.
No issues, best thing so far today.
Now to get the coffee going.
Not my first rodeo, my daughter is thanking me for what I'm doing, txting, she has always been great.
Their Dad was afraid I couldn't handel the two boys being ill and all, he couldn't, he calls for help. He has a lot to learn, but he is still young.
I've Been here, done this, many times over. 5 kids and a grand child taught this old man a lot.
I know all will be fine in a few days.
The shave was wonderful, and nice.
    Oh the smell of coffee.
    Enjoy

Great shave, Terry. I'm thankful for the good report on your newborn granddaughter. I hope your two grandsons get better soon. Nice to have grandpa around. :)

Wonderful shave, Charlie! I look forward to the photo when that Soap Commander tub is finished. Wonderful longevity of product and kudos to your determination to see it through!

Thanks Charlie. It was game night and my table decided to play password. I played "Allen Ludden" as the mediator for the first round. The second round someone else switched places with me so that I can play with a partner. You don't have to guess what team won the second round. Lol! Anyway, I knew the people at my table for years so there was a mixture of seriousness and laughter among us.

Well, normally, I would say great picture, but there is too much non shave related items in there. Looks like a great shave, but too bad your grandchildren are sick. Sounds like you have things as under control as they can be with two sick little ones. It is amazing at how quickly kids bounce back from being sick. You are definitely a good granddad.
