Thanks for the tune Patrick. Don't think I've ever heard that song before. I was going to ask Terry if he brewed his own.

Since adding daughter and kids to my previously bachelor lifestyle I've had to shuffle some of my possession around to make room. I've stacked all my wine making gear in the corner of the dining room. Dad sent his jugs, empty bottles and assorted paraphernalia my way when his doctor told him type 2 diabetes precluded our favorite home made sweet dessert wines. I've got enough Japanese plums in the freezer to run a batch in the 7 gallon carboy and will put all the unnecessary gear into storage when I get it started. The kids will appreciate the extra space at the table and my daughter just might pay attention as I brew a batch.

Thanks Perry. I appreciate the kind words. A large sample size of Soap Commander remains, and the scent has greatly diminished. The soap continues to perform well, and it has been a great value. When I reach the finish line, I will apply for an honorary Alabama state sales tax exemption number and ask @Drygulch to credit me with finishing an honorary fruitcake in addition to the soap. :D

    Day 44.

Three leisurely passes with the Ralf Aust, and touchups with the micromatic. Again, if pressed for time I could have skipped the micromatic. But I wasn't.

And again, the Antiga Barbearia de Bairro produced a superb lather. Gladly takes extra water without falling apart, for a lather that I can flick off rather than rinse. Gently, of course - wouldn't want to launch the razor!

    February 17 SOTD:

    Razor: Gillette Fatboy
    Blade: Gillette Spoiler
    Brush: Dogwood Handcrafts Aurora
    Lather: Stirling For Him
    Aftershave: Stirling For Him
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Unscented PSB

A nice Sunday morning shave with some Stirling and my Fatboy. Really not much to report, as it was two passes and DFS. We just got back from church and are loading up for quick trip to a friend's house at the lake for the evening. I hope everyone has a great day!

Sounds like fun, Joe. Allen Ludden met his wife, Betty White, on the show. ;)

Wet shaving has certainly expanded my horizons for scents, however it will be difficult nudge Brut out of the top position in the Max Headroom list of Most Glorious Stanks. If only it lasted better.

    Be well!
