Seeing that we are back to coffee... Bought a tea pot today so that I can boil water on a hot plate to make coffee in my French Press. Good bye drip maker at school. French Press both at home and school now.

 

What if we dip it in Barbacide and clean it up real good for you?

Sorry to hear that, Rolls. It is good to hear that you're mostly okay, though. I got worried about you for a little there.

Tony's strops are really nice. The Apprentice strop uses the same quality of leather as the more expensive strops. If you're not looking for a flashy strop, the Apprentice strop is a great deal.

And now he's passed out from the blood rush to his head.

I would definitely say they're thicker. About 4 times thicker, it seems.

That would make me a happy camper. Everywhere I've gone has ASR blades. Gem ASR, CVS ASR, Walgreens ASR. Is there any difference between the various ASR blades?

 

I just started corking yesterday. I figured I would try.. surely it can't hurt to run it on a packing peanut once before putting it into the razor. I prep my razors the night before so that I am not doing it when groggy or wet from the shower, so that extra step is no big deal.

hmm if I knew it was super clean then I would probably use it. but if it looked kind of dirty of had those little spots on it I don't know if I would, it would probably freak me out.

I can't say that I noticed anything. But then again, I was doing this with a blade that is top notch on shave 1 for me anyway. I suppose I should try it on some truly inconsistent blades to see how it helps.

 

Ray was going to NC with Family for the weekend. (no he ISN"T.... I am going to smack my head on my desk for a while... don't mind me)

 

Woah... my mistake... I got my mental wires crossed... I dunno whats up with Ray. Different person going to NC.

 

Not a bad ideal at all.., I always have the razor ready the night before myself. 0400 is a bit early to be messing with blades.
