that happens...the funny part for me was that my grandmother came for a visit around 1982 from england. while she was here she bought me my dayton black beauties, boots.the people who wore them mostly were bikers, roughnecks, and everything in between..i loved them and wore them until 2003 0r so..there is a reason they were banned in most bars and nightclubs ..not my doing though, only my high school for me..they would leave heavy black marks on the floor ,whick our crowd did..but i left a wide one around 20 feet long ,i was dragged by buddies.no daytons alound in school after that..

Later on in my life, my Mom said I should have been born in the 1940's with the lifestyle and beliefs I had growing up. I think she had a point, but I suppose I would have had to worry about being sent to Vietnam.

At first, yes. The jackets were ankle length, with collars and pockets. Although made of leather scraps pieced together to cover the large panels I keep a shoe box with all the creams, polishes, and brushes to maintain.

When the Columbine school shooting happened there was a certain distrust for young men in black trench coats.

I enjoyed the Rebok brand of those for years, then they stopped making them. When reintroduced they were not the same. Can you say "reformulated"?

Then you are going to pull off a Rule. It's a Cartel Sanctioned exercise designed to eliminate hardware & software variables and develop Technique. You may notice both New & Veteran Shavers here give the bloody details about their shaves. The Shave of the Day posts are eye candy. We're all about the nuts & bolts of improving our results. If you have questions about products, terminology, inside jokes, anything - please ask. This is The Un-Hijackable Thread.

(What I just did in this post is called a Shave Fu. Named after a 30 DC member who would quote and respond to many other posts in one long post)
