  10. Definitely, Joe! :happy088:
  11. Thank you, Jim! You are spot on with the Atomic Rocket, it was huge when I got it. It actually spoiled me a bit, as I expected similar from the Green Ray brush, which is actually quite a bit smaller. All three of the PAA Synthetic brushes I own are terrific, though.
  12. Thank you, Jim! I really need to get rid of some items before I add another soap. I have identified a couple more to try and sell or PIF. I'm trying to be disciplined and at least use a one out and one in philosophy at the moment. With all that being said, I'll like go for the CK1 formula when it's time.

    Thank you, Jim!

    Thank you, Clint!

  14. Thank you, Clint! My work week is just starting, so we will see. I am transitioning to a temporary assignment on an expansion we have just kicked off. It is a bit busy at the moment, but hopefully when I get my normal duties transitioned to another guy in my group, it will settle out a bit.

Have a great week, and I hope the PT goes well today.

RazoRock 400 Noir Plissoft Synthetic Shaving Brush
    Timeless Razors Lathering Bowl
    Williams Mug Soap
    CVS SE Blade
    GEM "Guiding Eye" Bullet
    Nivea Aftershave Balm
    Pinuad Clubman Classic

On my continuing quest of the SE focus this month today I broke out the Gem “Guiding Eye” Bullet. I can honestly say this was my best SE shave for the month so far.

Dampened the RazoRock brush and swirled a little Williams on the bristles and then created a great amount of lather in the Timeless bowl. First time using the RazoRock brush with the Timeless bowl. The longer brush handle work great with the bowl and the deep sides work to keep the Williams contained.

Nice comfortable shave with no alum burn. I then completed two passes and cleaned up a few areas on the neck.

Finished up with some Nivea and Clubman classic.

Y'all take care and have a great Tuesday!

    F.W. Engles special 3/4
    Mountain Rain By Jeeves
    Jayaruh 117
    Nivea post shave balm

I fairly certain that this was the first shave this razor has seen, mainly because it had no bevel on it before I honed it, and also no marks to show it had ever seen a hone. The bad part is that it wasn’t stored properly and does have some rust that will need to be addressed. Whenever I try out a razor I always use the same soaps to make sure that there’s no problems on the lather side of the shave. The Engles definitely takes a keen edge, even with four days of growth it sliced through the whiskers effortlessly. The first pass was so close that it was almost a dfs then, but did another pass to get what little was missed on my jawline and parts of the neck. Very happy with the Engles razor, now it time to take it to the bench and pretty it up. 78074FBC-843A-4EF6-B3CA-645E25E9A755.jpeg
  19. Great report Joseph, the neck area will come along with time and practice, experiment with the direction of your passes on the neck.
  20. Nice gear and shaves, Danny and Paul!
