    42nd and 43rd focus shave

Today is a no shave day, and I completed the last two shaves with my normal focus gear. Near BBS shaves with no blood are fairly routine now. I can even pull off a fairly quick, safe, and passable shave, if needed.

A new doughnut hole appeared in my small plastic container of Soap Commander. I estimate that I will finish it in a week or two. I'm currently working with the Cartel in STL World HQ, NYC leaders and major TV networks to arrange a victory parade. @brit will employ his extensive fashion knowledge to coordinate parade wear, and @Primotenore will debut a new operatic piece if we can work out the details with his publicist and handlers. @9nein9 and @Hembree will be in charge of the parade and Cartel fleet. I'm finding that temporarily relocating Cartel personnel and hardware to NYC requires much planning...and of course Rubles. Plan on wearing socks with your sandals, as it will be cold in NYC this time of year. Details are forthcoming, but it should be an exciting event.

It's been a busy and fun week so far seeing our kiddos on Monday and making some final decisions on finishes in our house. Lots of great shaves and discussions going on here. Every time I go away for a few hours, I get 200 posts behind...so that's a really good indication the learning and fun taking place.

I hope you all are having a great week.

  6. Great picture Jim. Love the brush.

Very nice Perry. TOBS was my first shaving cream. I really enjoyed it and my wife liked the the Sandalwood scent.

Love the photo Jim. It is a cold rainy and messy morning here as well.

I ordered the Alpha Shaving brush back during their Thanksgiving sale. After some delays, the brush arrived yesterday. With my complete lack of patience, I immediately snapped a photo and put it into the rotation. Since I was unable to completely eliminate the badger funk, I bowl lathered the AOS Sandalwood cream. Three passes and touch ups ended in a perfect BBS shave. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.
  9. Sounds like a great time! I hope it's televised!

  12. Thanks Jim. I'm hopeful. @NCoxSTL is reaching out to his associates at Fox News. It helps when you have connections with the Republican National Committee and the NRA. ;)
  13. Stunning picture, Clint! Congrats on the new brush. It looks to have a nicer finish than my PAA version.

  16. Classic shave, Gary. Your copper bowl is an eye catcher. You could easily sit it in a sink of warm water to keep your lather warm.
