just cut my hand sanding the straights....dumbass....deciding whether to go get a stitch or 2....yes i got pics

Geez, sorry Matt, I always worry about that when I am messing around polishing the straight razors. I wonder if Wrapping an eraser with some cloth/sandpaper would be better than using the finger to do the polishing.

 

it's not tto bad, but prob shuold get a stitch to hold it closed

Jen, those would be good choices. If you pay attention, PaulDog (is he a member here) has some NOS techs available on eBay every now and then. Vintage but not used - and easy to clean.

Ouch.. Yeah, stitches might be a good idea. And here I was complaining about burning my thumb.

Jim, glad to hear that your wife is better. Hope ya got to enjoy your conference.

 

Justin post a pic of your burned finger.....

 

Nothing to see, I burned it right in the crease of the joint... Just some white callous and a little white bubble in the joint, but nothing that would show up on a camera well.

 

I thought we could have a wound of the week contest. Not one I would want to win though.

 

Heck.. the way today is going, it could just be a wound of the day.

BTW, Bong: thanks again for those blades you sent. I finally got around to trying the 7 O'Clock Black blades today. Very nice!

I dunno, I am on my 4th day and I don't know if it is possible to string that many together so quickly....

 

Hey ho kids. Let's see. Congrats to Rolls for gettin' busted out today. Congrats to Jen on not being a dude. Matt and Justin: ouch! Me hates the cuts and burns. I must have missed the post poacher...need to go see what he tried to pull. To everyone else hi and happy Saturday. Gonna be kind of busy Sunday/Monday so I put the weekly chat up today. Check it out.

Yup............. I am finally home. Although I have a bunch of crap that had to follow me home, and I will be having some nurse stop in every day for a while to make sure I am not dead. Now, first order of business for ole' Rolls is to get to rolling (one up)......

Then, I am going to shave for the first time in a week!! Yay!!!!

 

yay spring break plans are all worked out, I'm spending a few days at home and a few days in boston with Sean. I am going nuts, haven't seen him since January 5th and I won't see him until March
