Good morning everybody. Justin - sorry to hear about your fall there. What are you doing going to school on a Sunday, anyway? Jim, good luck with the doctor...I thought she was feeling better
she is, she's not got the high temp from the other night, but this low grade temp isn't going away, she's getting a sore throat, etc., so I think we're going to go ahead and get this knocked out
"YOW" sharp blades, wet floors, and bare skin don't seem to appear together frequently in nature, and it sounds like for good reason!
I was procrastinating. I burned my thumb at practice yesterday and didn't want to be handling a bunch of paperwork. I had already been here for 4 hours with science Olympiad practice. My wife wanted to go to Outback. I easily caved and decided I would just go in this morning early, get my grading done and be out early still. Jim.. I hope things go well! I am just using a tea kettle on a hot plate that I have in my classroom - I am a science teacher after all. The French press looks like a big beaker- so it fits in well. Evil hot plate got me yesterday... Yup, better blades give better shaves. No doubt about it. Well it has been about 1.5 hours. I am stiff and sore and it hurts to use the left arm for much. With the burn on the right hand and a shot left arm... I am just having loads of fun. On the bright side - it was a GREAT shave this morning! Jim: I see a weird cat that is a visual cacophony of John Lennon and Harry Potter. Maybe I am concussed...
Off to the local Sunday flea market. Better weather should mean more dealers. And maybe a steal or two. Otherwise I'll use my *AD for some soaps later in the week.
I love flea markets! Razors can be evasive. I've found some great ones, and some junk. But I love every minute of it.
Justin, see what happens when you mis-spell my name. First the hot plate. I was just getting warmed up (pun intended).....then the ice..... I'd guess you've learned your lesson. Seriously though, be careful! Hope you feel better.
Wow, the posts come fast here. Wheeew. :shocked031 Off to church. Might get back on later today, but I plan on spending some time outside with the boy and maybe get in some time on my current bow - heck, might start on a new one. I got some elm and a stave of hickory yesterday, already seasoned. Should make a couple of nice bows out of those.
Haven't been to a flea market yet. Aren't any really around here that occur when I can go. Definitely something to plan on trying to do this summer. JoAnna JoAnna JoAnna...
Huh... I e-mailed my wife to warn her about the icy conditions. She didn't check her e-mail before she twisted her ankle taking the dog out. We will make a nice pair. She has a twisted ankle, I have a tweaked shoulder.
Wow, Justin! Glad she's not hurt too bad. I do have to ask why you didn't call her, though. I wouldn't have seen it soon enough in an email, either.
