yes ,they look like a new sport trac..may get one. when the bugs are worked out..love my stang but not great in winter..i miss my o9 ranger 4x4 very much..

Here's a question for our Tabac soap users: to grate or not to grate? I just received a container of the soap, and it has a little room. Do you guys normally grate it or leave as is?

 

I havent owned a Ford in probably 20 years now. Ford dealers here are terrible, then again all are here but I quit buying new and dont have to interact with them anymore since i work on my own vehicles. Its impossible to buy a bare bones " truck " these days , all newer ones ride like cars and I hate that.

 

i do agree ,my last newest truck was a 77 f250, before that all 67-72 gmc pick ups.. tough and reliable..and pretty..

 

I've only used the shave sticks, Jim. Sorry I can't be of help. I'm also interested to hear what others think.

 

i leave it. doesn t take much to load the brush,

 

I have the glass jar, and it fits snug. I do have other soaps that move around in the container, and it doesn't bother me. They still load fine.

February 23 - NO SHAVE

What a week it's been. And, in my world, there's still a day left in it. It hasn't been a bad week, necessarily. Big brass in town that went better than expected but not as perfectly as one could hope for. My wife had a busy week with her internship. She's seeing clients now so our schedule is rearranging daily until we can get it fully under control. Yesterday we were put under a precautionary boil order because of a water main break which was lifted early this evening, so we had a small amount of disruption over that. My wife sent me a text with a picture of the TV screen today - the Amazon Fire Stick wasn't connecting to internet. Oh, and we upgraded internet forcing me to reconnect our world and fight through some intermittent problems...however that's been a good result. Much faster. So, a Fire Stick not connecting - had to get a new Fire Stick. Knocked my Chrome book off of the desk at work today. Nothing obviously broken.......except it no longer charges. I knocked something loose. No way to fix it and Chrome Books are cheap. Gotta get a new one tomorrow. Kind of the highlights of a week that leaves me wondering why I feel a little beat up. So.....not gonna bother with the razors tonight. I'll look like a bum tomorrow and don't care. It's a short day. And my Friday. Casual Friday it is! Hope you had a great Saturday and have an even better Sunday!! Rock on!

I've never grated it, but I don't think you'd go wrong if you did. The only soap I grate is Arko and that's just to get it out of stick form and into an Old Spice mug so I can load the brush from there if I don't feel like using the stick on my face.

 

My first time using Tabac was in an up-cycled deo stick dispenser. Unsure but I assume it was grated to fit. It worked fine. Now I have the glass dish. If I don't use it often it dries and shrinks away from the sides of the dish. Doesn't stop me from getting a good brush load.

 

All goo fans need to learn the art of blooming. Always in a bowl, cause mugs are for coffee.

Jim, this is one of the few soaps that I don't grate, because I am using a Tabac ceramic container and it's a tight fit. If I didn't and it was flopping around in the bowl I would grate it.

 

Didn't you just get that Chromebook? I don't know how you paid for it, but it might be worth seeing if your credit card has any kind of warranty extension.

As for the Fire Stick... odd that it won't connect. We're a pretty heavy Amazon house here so, if you decide to toss it, put it aside for the next time we swap shaving hardware. (Oh, heck, I've been known to adopt the odd, broken computing device as well. )
