No, no. the wickiup is in the back and I'm lucky to have it there. SWMBO is not a fan of such things.

As far as a pic of the bow, I'll have to take one. Curious. Usually I'll take photos of my projects and this is one of which I have no pics handy. We'll see what the next few days brings.

So I'm relaxing in the armchair watching television for the first time in a while. Has anyone seen the Red Bull advertisement that's on television now? I can't believe they let that on the air.

 

commercials? isn't that what a DVR is for... to avoid commercials?

I don't watch television often, so a DVR would be a waste of money.

I just found what seems to be an English version of the commercial. The one on the air here has even more suggestive voices.

In the US version, the woman's name is White Dove.

Slight racial issue in it as well.

I would only guess that the name change to White Dove is due to the oldies song "Running Bear Loved Little White Dove..."

yeah... I even had a crazy physics prof that had us solve math and projectile motion problems to the theme of Running Bear jumping off a cliff to meet Little White Dove... how fast should each run before jumping to ensure they met before x....

and now I am the crazy math/science teacher doing the same kind of problems ... just without Running Bear and Little White Dove... but they are always there in the back of my mind...

Yup... I am warped... and proud of it!

 

Do note that it is Brown Bear and White Dove.

Not that I'm denying the connection you guys just made, but I just find it strange that it's on television during primetime and it shocks me that it's so suggestive.

I guess it shows you how little I watch television, huh?
