I think you should sent an email to Myrsol directly and let them know of the problem.

Joseph, thanks for answering the question. However, I should have been more specific by asking how were the aesthetics of the shave affected. As far as WCS, I have limited experience with them because I bought my shavette from them and nothing else. I would think that WCS would have been more diplomatic in their response to your complaint.

Let's see what that might sound like.:

Host/lawyer: Would you tell the jury where you were at 4:00 on the morning of(date of crime)?:
Defendant: Well, at that time I......
Hosr/lawyer: Your Honor, would you please instruct the witness to finish the answer?

Good morning all and happy Sunday.
Feeling better today I decided to change things, a lot.
Not using my normal suds, grabbing Wool Fat, my MMOC with a new blade as always and my horse hair brush to do a nice Sunday shave.
Well, that didn't happen to say the least. I'm acustom to using a new blade with a OC razor that is, well, capable of a close shave.
First, the soap was not as slick as I am used to, even with more time in preperation. Second, because it did not lather as well as the PAA or Stirling, it dried out quicker, leaving me to re-apply to moisten the soap.
I understand the lack of lather and slickness because of my hard water, so it may not be the soap to use here. All these factors contributed to a less than plesant shave. This is one of the rare times I had to use my styptic pencil on the back of my head because of the slight bounce of the razor once. The face and neck was also less than normal due to the lack of slikness I expected. Some weepers on the neck I sadly report.

After all that a small aplication of Clubman Pinaid.... ouch... OUCH... OUCH!!! Never had that happen with this stuff.

The shave was not as I like.
    Mmmm.
Monday, same hardware, different soap. ;)

    To all
    enjoy

OK, the worst part is when I am face lathering, it is like rubbing sand into my face. That, in and of itself, is a deal-breaker. If I wanted to shave with Lava, I would.

Great picture, Joseph! I have never experienced granules in my shave soap, but it doesn't sound pleasant.

Since I started straight shaving, I can get away with shaving every other day. I can do it becausd my whiskers are white and therefore, it doesn't show as much as when it was darker. I guess it is one of the perks of getting older.

Just a thought, maybe if you put the soap in the microwave, then the crystals may melt and disappear. Hopefully, it won't recrystallize when it cools.
