Gentlemen, thanks for the kind words.

Gary, if I ever build another snow fort, I'll definitely check with Calvin first. :)

20190224_160736.jpg Good afternoon guys. Finished another shave with another "first" in shaving. I just acquired a 5/8 Square point Wostenholm from Ebay. I bought it from the same seller who sold me my vintage Engel. Like the Engel, this straight was definitely shave ready! I applied Stirling's Sandalwood soap with my Semogue OC Super Badger to begin my shave. I have to say that I was very happy with this vintage early 1900's razor. The $30 purchase for this razor was worth it. I almost forgot. It isn't only my first time shaving with this razor, but it is the first time that I shaved with a Sheffield steel one. I definitely can tell the difference to my other razors. The Wostenholm feels stiffer. Did WTG and ATG with touchups. @wristwatchb, Charlie, you will be glad to know that I didn't cut myself, and also without irritation. Finally, for the first time, used the Stirling Sandalwood AS to finish. I know that I am repeating myself, but Stirling soaps and their aftershaves are great! Ok, my shave was IBSS because I have some cuts that need to heal and didn't want to reopen them.

Joe, congrats on the error-free IBSS shave! That's quite a feat with a square point razor. The Wostenholm is a beauty. You got a wonderful deal on it, and it's a fine addition to your den!

Thanks, Charlie! However, I had practice because my 7/8 Henckel Friodur is also a square point. Thanks again for the encouragement!

Very nice shave, Joseph. Sorry about the Mysol soap. My Soap Commander made in the Heart of Dixie has no granules (not allowed south of the Mason-Dixon line); however, I had a tin of Le Père Lucien that had some granules in it.

I'll take Broadway Shows for $200 please. ;)
