I happily sold it off to Sanpaku long ago and never want to smell it again. I am still loving me some MR....just splashed some on again. I might need to get the cologne after funds get better. The balsam might be a nice one! Aint getting any Nancy Boy love over in the classified either Its tough to sell anything here! I lose my ass anytime I do sell something

Thank you! IRS is going to have their hands full this year across the board so I am not too worried. Its not much in the scheme of things but it is when there is no income coming in:mad: It kind of sucks since I have to hide alot of income from 2008 also but they wont catch that until 2010

exactly.....i didnt read I would be happy to switch shoes with Tom though. I just had some buyer of a digital camera I sold on ebay write me a bitch letter on how the little door that holds the memory card in falls off when its open? This thing sold as is for $10.01 + shipping. everything included. She is bitching about a little damn door that she will never open? The thing is the first Canon Elph digital camera for gods sake. She said" I already left you feedback so what can you do?" As is means as is. You got a good camera at a damn good deal so shut the hell up. minus that last part of course. I guess I see why its risky buying stuff on ebay....good luck with screwing over more people! OK lady....get over it.

Glad to hear that she is improving.

Is that what that is? Well... I haven't been fishing in ages, but I can't think of why I want to smell like old fishing lines, bait, and what not.

 

Any of you ever use Wilkinson blades? I found some at my local drug store for $1.25. They say classic on them and have a white container. I am trying to find something I can use a day or two a week to get a break from the feathers.

 

actually, I thought of that on the spot when I typed it, I'm pretty proud of that one....IF I ever get a boat worthy of being named, I now have one ready

I like them, and they are Micah's goto blade.
I got some in the West Coast sampler that are from UK made, as opposed to the German ones in my local grocery store, and I liked them better, but both provided a very good shave, give 'em a shot!

 

Those are my gold-standard blade! I will occasionally pick up a pack at Brookshire's when I'm needing a pick-me-up. I find that they provide me with the smoothest shave ever, but some folks rate them kind of low. For me, though, they're awesome.

 

I like them.. one of the best blades I have found for my gdads SS.

So how the heck do you tell if they are german or uk?

 

I've tried two different Wilkinson blades:

These Wilkinsons I got from WCS in a sampler and I thought were similar to crystals and Red IP's. I liked these:



These Wilkinsons I got from a trade with someone at the B. They seemed to be similar to Derby's to me. These I didn't like:

okay, seriouisly, I don't know...the way I kept them separate at home was, I was out of the "local" ones, so I knew the ones I had were the UK's, other than that I haven't compared them, I'm pretty sure the card my local store has says Made in Germany on the back, but I'm not sure how to tell if it's UK, since my pack from WCS only came as the dispenser, I don't think it had any info on it other than the standard Wilkinson Sword card in the dispenser
