Also first time using Old Spice Shulton in many years and glad it's back in my rotation. Two passes with a little touch up for a very smooth and comfortable BBS shave.

Thanks. I like razors with heavy handles, and also not being long, it shaves great and easy to maneuver.

He said to go ahead and do the review, but to say I'm reviewing the "old" soap-not what he now has. He said other customers have done the very same thing. Greg is very good at getting right back to his customers to help us...as is Doc Ezlovan at Stoylin(maybe others too who I haven't yet bought from). It's excellent when the Gregs and Docs treat their customers this way. As for Grandpa's Barbershop, I'll get that review onto the site sometime this week.
Sounds like they would go well together. Ballenclaugh scents are usually pretty unique and on the strong side which is a good thing IMO. Glad to hear its to your liking Jamie!
Just to clarify, by "new ones", I mean that he has taken the clay out of ALL of the soaps there, current and past(he does have some new soaps thrown in).
SHAVE OF THE DAY Prep: nothing Razor: Razorock DE1 Blade: Croma Diamat Brush: Maggard 24mm Synthetic Soap: Murphy & McNeil- Tonry Tree Farm Pine Post: B&M Taigia A/S Managed a decent 2 pass shave, no real problems but not the best shave either. First time with this Murphy & McNeil Tonry Tree Farm Pine formula and it went well. Scent strength on this one is very light and almost has a Cedarwood Menthol type of vibe to it. Scraped a small bit into the Red Pottery Bowl added a little water and went to work. Lather took a little more work then both of their other soap bases, and can see why they tweaked the recipe. Soap provided ample protection but was nothing memorable, no visable irritation which is always good. Finished off with Taiga A/S to keep with the Pine theme. Hope everyone had a swell shave!
