Keith, I started on a 5/8 traditional straight and didn't have a problem with it because I previously used a shavette. Now, I have straights with larger width and didn't have a hard time adjusting to them. I guess it depends on the person's comfortability and preference on any straight razor. Maybe, if I use my larger straights more frequently, then I might get into the same situation.

I stocked up a few days too soon. They were listed at 14.99 sale price when I ordered them.
