    Thank you, Andrew!
The knot is the two band finest offered by Grizzly Bay. My other Grizzly Bay brush has the same knot and I love it. I've read and heard reviews mentioning gelled tips and wondered what that was, now I know. I've heard it's from over processing the hair, don't know but I know I like it.

Somehow, changing an old tried and true formula never works, i.e. the Coca-Cola reformulation.

Finished another soap, eh? I don't want to say I'm jealous, but I'm jealous.

Okay, let's establish the rules. Okay there are no rules. I'm in and will help out were I can. We could send stuff to Neal and he could be in charge of sending out prizes. I have just finished a rule I will admit it was difficult. I do apologize for being generous. No I don't.

Charlie - @wristwatchb - when you started using the Soap Commander Love almost exclusively in November, was it new or almost new, or had you used it a good bit at that point?

I often ponder just picking a soap and using it all the way out like you've done.

And I'll throw in two more of those-Rise Shaving Cream and Old Spice(which I now call "New" Spice). But in the CTS case, Greg added some ingredients to compensate for taking out the Bentonite Clay-ingredients that sound familiar as being used in other soaps(can't recall them just now, but they're listed in the website, so I'll get back to you on it).

This is not to say I don't like the "new" Rise...of course I do-but it ain't what Robustelli, Lucas, and Butkus were talkinabout in their commercials.

Finally... A successful shave with The Fat! Building on the knowledge that I learned a couple of days ago that, for me, less is more with Mitchell's. I started with a damp brush and a dry puck and loaded for 15 seconds (I usually load a little longer with a natural hair brush then a synthetic), and began working the lather. Its a slow process and takes a lot more time then any other soap that I ever used but gradually the lather builds and builds, eventually I end up with a bowl full well hydrated, creamy, thick lather. I had no issues today with the later drying out on my face or dissipating. It was also nice and slick and made a base for the 1914 loaded with a new Gem PTFE blade to do its work. Prior to this shave I was thinking about letting this brush go, but man the knot feels good with super soft tips and nice backbone and the handle is great too, I think I'll hold on to this one after all. Three passes and the baby was in the house. Have a great day my friends!
