Perry, I had used the container before and then put it aside. I'd say it was about 80+% full when I started using it again in November. It was a 6-ounce container. I'm doing this mainly to consolidate my soaps. Same with my blades. I'm using up the odd and ends and working toward the stuff I think I'll use for the long-term. I've got several more soaps and creams to plow through this year.

It's taken me a few years of experimenting, but I can see my primary soaps eventually being a rotation of Mike's Natural Soaps, Tabac, Eufros by Jabonman, and MdC. I'm not sure I'd include MdC, but I have 1.75 pucks. That's probably a lifetime supply at the rate I use it. I generally prefer tallow and/or triple-milled soaps with Lavender, Tobacco flower, and Bay Rum generally being my favorite scents. I will probably always have a shave stick for travel and an unscented soap of some kind. I may pick up a shaving cream just for the ease of use...TOBS and CF are my favorites to-date. I'm kinda this way on most things...I narrow things down to what I like and use most frequently. We're all wired differently, and I know this would drive some folks nuts. I guess it helps that I'm already nuts. :)

I want to narrow down as well. Stirling and Soap Commander would be my first two choices at the moment. I haven't tried a lot of popular brands and I'm okay with that because there is are so many options. More choices would muddy the waters. I have four or five tubs of Soap Commander and nine tubs of Stirling. That's a lot of soap to go through! Plus I'll keep Mitchell's Wool Fat and the Oleo soap I have. That's 16 soaps.

    Anyway, thanks for the info!

Another day with a very early shave and an afternoon post. What to end Favourites February with? The MonoBilt, Gentleman and CL US seemed appropriate. Great 2+ pass shave left me very smooth. A great end to the month.
I have enjoyed the month for sure. Cycled through some favourite razors- NEW LC, Aristocrat Jr., the MonoBilt, prewar Tech, Schick G4 and GEM Jr in various categories. Limited my brush rotation to 6 or 7 of my personal faves. Soaps were primarily SV, B&M, Stirling, Palmolive, Fine and First Canadian. Splashes by Chatillon Lux and others listed above. Fantastic.
I have really enjoyed following along with many of the other folks on here this month. Some very cool focuses and rules, from Shavettes to EDRIOs to brand specific mini-rules. Great stuff, and I am looking forward to March as well!

    Have a great day, all!

A great summary as usual, Clint. Some of your best photos for sure. You even made up for the cartridge travel shave photos with a few great shots of you and your daughter those days! Fantastic as always.

Hope to hear more from you in March, John.
Great B&W, Perry! I've enjoyed your soap rotation this month for sure.
Sounds like a great month, Jim!
What a great write-up, Charlie. Keep the Calvin and Hobbes coming, please.
Looking forward to seeing your new soaps and hearing some reviews next month, Jim!
We all knew it would just be a matter of time until you got that soap dialed in, Andrew. Did you use Drakkar Noir back in the day? I didn't, but some of my friends darn near bathed in the stuff. I'm not sure I need the memory association to my younger days by wearing it....:)
